Email # 15 - Twin Falls, Idaho

So, this week was transfers and Elder Mitchell is now gone. But to fill in for him is Elder Watson! He is very different from Mitchell is more laid back and has some really good ideas for the area. I am very excited and feel that we will get a lot done and work well together.

Sorry if you have been waiting for pictures, I will be sending the cards TODAY! You will love them.

Now about the work, We have two baptisms set up for next month!! The first one is our dear friend Lili who is from Bosnia and hardly speaks English. She will be baptized on the 5th of February and has asked me to baptize her!!! I am so excited! The second is our friend Diana. She has had a tough time. She just quit drinking beer and is still fighting off smoking and is having great success so far. She wants Elder Mitchell to baptize her but he will need special permission to come back. (crosses fingers)

I'm going to have to send a few things home to you guys because I realized that I have way too much stuff to transfer with, and one of those things is the coat I asked you to send me. lol I know it’s ridiculous, but I have grown! The coat is too small now and it takes up way to much room in my suit case. So I will be sending that back along with other assorted objects. lol

Two more things, for some reason I am unable now to get on Kenton's, Ryan's, and Matthews blogs and read their letters. So some help on that would be appreciated. And second, I NEED MY CURRENT DRIVERS RECORD! If you can’t get it please let me know so I can get an Idaho license so I can drive.

That's all I got for now. Thanks for all the letters and prayers, I think of you every day and I love you all. Stay cool!

Transfers on Monday...

January 18, 2011

Email #15 - Twin Falls, ID

Hey Ma!

To start off, yes I did have a tape for you, no; it is not finished and I decided to just keep working on it and send it next Christmas so you can listen to it in the right time. lol. Hey, it gives you something to look forward too!! lol

So, I am glad to hear you all are doing well. I am superb right now! I was able to go thru the Temple this morning and had an amazing time. The Gospel is so true Mom. I know it is and I love it. I love the temple and the peace that I feel as I just listen to the spirit.

Transfers are this next Monday, so I will be sure to tell you if I am leaving the area or not. I am also going to be mailing you two memory cards! Neither of them are full but they both have pictures that I am sure you will enjoy. One has a video of me getting attacked by a bunch of kids. lol (Izaak will love that one.)

My asthma has been doing amazing even though I haven't had my pills for a few days now! I actually feel like this is the best I have ever breathed!!

I thank God for this constantly!

And now, here are a few pictures on the card that I am working on filling up!!!! The baptism one is of Jeremy Mills baptism. I am standing next to him. I hope you enjoy!

That's all I got for now, I love you all and pray for you. Stay cool!

Sorry so Late

January 11, 2011 (1-11-11)

Email #14 - Twin Falls, Idaho

Hey fam!

Sorry I missed emailing last week! We were very busy that day and I promise it won’t happen again!

So here is what's happening, Last Saturday we got permission to attend the baptism of a young man we have been teaching named Jeremy Mills on the 8th of January! He got baptized outside our area so we had to ask President if we could go and he said yes! =) Work is starting to pick up again now that the holidays are over, which we are very happy about. There's only so much a missionary can do when there is no work to be done. lol

We have also been visiting a less active woman named Michelle who's testimony is very weak. She knows the church is true but still does wrong anyway. She says she doesn't want to go and talk to her bishop because of what she has done in her past. If she did tell she would be ex communicated, and if that happened she says she would not come back to the church. I hurt for her, because she could be such an amazing woman but she seems to have abandoned all hope for forgiveness. Please pray for her.

Yesterday was amazing as we only had two lessons planned but ended the day with five! I love how the Lord blesses us with people to teach when we just put in the effort to go and find them.

I'm not going to write a lot on this email because I have a lot of letters heading your way soon with details in them. Even one for you Danielle. lol.

I love you all and pray that the Lord will continue to bless you. Stay Cool!
